Navitas is the Latin word for “energy” and “zest.” It embodies the company spirit of bringing ancient power foods to the modern consumer. It also describes how you can expect to feel after consuming our products.
What are functional foods?
Historically, functional foods are whole foods that have a complex and nutrient-rich composition that provide well-being beyond what the body simply needs to survive. These power foods are functional because they contain compounds that enhance health and prevent disease.
Why are Navitas Natural products found in the health department of my grocery store?
Our products target the health-conscious consumer, who is looking for the best way to enhance their intake of essential vitamins and minerals. Studies show that the body can better absorb nutrition through whole foods. Our foods can replace or augment supplements.
What makes Navitas Naturals superior?
Navitas Naturals demonstrates unwavering care and focus in choosing, processing and packaging all of our premium products. All our goods are consistently tested by independent third parties for pesticides, heavy metals, impurities and microbes to assure that they are of the highest quality and purity.
Where do your products come from?
We search the world over to learn how indigenous cultures have used plants for health and medicine. We then work directly with sustainable farms to bring their crops to market. We currently import products from Peru, Columbia, China, Brazil and Turkey.
Are all of your products organic?
All of Navitas Naturals products are organic or ethically wild crafted. No pesticides, sulfites, genetically modified foods, or sweeteners are ever used in our products. Wild Crafted foods are not cultivated crops, but rather are those harvested from wild sources.
Are your products kosher?
All of our products are certified Kosher through Earth Kosher™.
Are your products vegan?
All Navitas Naturals products are vegan, and are never tested on animals, besides humans.
Are your products raw?
Navitas Naturals uses low-temperature drying techniques and strives to protect the nutritional integrity of enzymes (which are sensitive to high temperatures). All of our products, except the Gelatinized Maca, are considered raw.
