Recipe - Banana and Strawberry Shake with Cacao Nibs

Ingredients

Add To Cart    8 Navitas Naturals Organic Raw Cacao Beans or a handful of Cacao Nibs
  3 Bananas
  1 C. Carob soy milk (or any juice)
  5 Strawberries (cut off green ends)
  ¼ Lemon (cut into smaller quarters without removing skin)
  1 Clove of garlic
  1 TBSP hemp oil
  4 Ice cubes
  8 Navitas Naturals Raw Cacao Beans or a Handful of

Directions

Combine ingredients 1 and 2 in food processor/blender and pulse for five seconds. Once ingredients are incorporated, turn to high speed. Add ingredients 3-5 and blend for ten more seconds. Add ingredients 6-8 and blend for 30 seconds. There are many variations to this. Try to make your own – it’s really hard to mess this up!

Garlic? I know what you might be thinking. It’s a subtle flavor and is very healthy. You can garnish this with almost anything, orange peel, strawberry or any fruit that you desire.

Eat This ~ By choosing different liquids (such as almond milk, rice milk or any other type of juice) can give the shake variety and help to mix things up to keep you satisfied. By drinking it slowly, your body will have a chance to fully digest. Since it’s liquid, the body won’t need to work as hard to break the food down. Also, remember to read the labels on the back of any fruit juice you buy. You want to make sure that the juice was made from ripe, whole certified organic strawberries, blueberries and blackberries or apple cider.
