Using Camu Powder in Recipes
An excellent Vitamin C boost, Camu adds a tart flavor component to the balance of any beverage or dish.
Chef's Notes:
Camu’s flavor is in between that of a sour berry and tart citrus fruit. It is balanced by adding a little sweetener like palm sugar or stevia.
Make a simple and refreshing camu punch with 8 oz water, 1 tsp camu powder, and 1 Tbsp palm sugar and/or stevia to taste.
Camu is also a great match with citrus juices.
Ideal as a vitamin C boost for smoothies.
