If you ever wanted to make a dinner out of tater tots, now is your guilt-free chance. With TONS of protein, EFA’s, fiber, and made without a deep fryer, these are by far the most delicious and nutritious tots out there. Do note: this recipe makes a large batch – perfect for freezing and warming up when the cravings call.

Ingredients

Add To Cart 1/4 cup Navitas Naturals Omega Twister Blend
  2 cups cooked quinoa
1½ cups cooked white beans (cannelloni)
  2 Tbsp yellow mild miso
  ¼ cup golden flax seeds
  ¼ cup brown rice flour
  ½ cup minced onion
  olive oil for cooking

Directions

Using a fork, mash the white beans in a large bowl. Mix in the remaining ingredients, except for oil.

A handful of dough at a time, form 1 inch thick long logs on a chopping board. Carefully cut logs into ½ thick slices to make the tots.

Warm a skillet over low heat, and pour in a little olive oil (a tablespoon or two) to coat the pan. Place tots inside the pan, and cook for several minutes until browned. Use a spatula to flip tots over to brown other side evenly.

Serve immediately with ketchup if desired, or freeze for later use.
